The Kawasaki Vulcan® 1500 Nomad™ represents the epitome of cruiser design and function. With its fresh styling and advanced, performance-enhanced V-twin engine, this motorcycle is made for touring comfort. It's also nice to know that, in an upscale marketplace overflowing with brands and models that offer touring capability, the Vulcan 1500 Nomad costs thousands of dollars less than the competition.

The Nomad features all the styling elements befitting a class-leading cruiser, including twin chrome exhaust pipes, chrome engine guards, rider and passenger floorboards, and polished alloy wheels. Equally important, however, are the touring accessories, such as an adjustable windshield, plush air-assisted rear suspension, a sculpted seat for one- or two-up long-distance riding, ergonomic controls and adjustable levers. Distinctively streamlined hard saddlebags provide generous storage capacity for those hard-to-resist overnight rides.

The Nomad's 90 cubic-inch V-twin engine generates incredible torque with its high-compression pistons and performance-oriented cam timing. There are four valves per cylinder actuated by single overhead cams. Hydraulic lash adjusters automatically maintain valve clearance for smooth engine performance, reduced noise and minimal maintenance, and automatic cam chain tensioners keep cam timing accurate and provide greater reliability with virtually no upkeep.
